Commercial Use of Video
The underwater stock footage previewed on this website, and much much more, is available for licensing. Bubble Vision underwater stock footage has appeared on the BBC, Channel 4 and The History Channel. Masters in PAL format are normally supplied on a mini-DV cassette. If you need DV-quality NTSC format we can supply that as an AVI file on a DVD-R or CD-R disk or as a download. We can also convert into other formats such as MPEG2, MPEG4, DVD, Quicktime, Windows Media, DivX and Real Video. See our video format conversion page for details.
We license our video per second, with a minimum of 10 seconds. Our usual licence agreement is non-exclusive, for a single insert in a single production ("rights managed"), and our prices are as follows:

Non-Broadcast:
The non-broadcast license allows for use on one of the following non-broadcast media: website (excluding advertising), personal videos, and educational exhibits. For other non-broadcast media (e.g. trade shows, in-house corporate, cell phones, and amusement parks), please contact us for a quote. License terms for the national and worldwide options are 5 years. The "all media" option permits use for a single production on any number of the listed non-broadcast media, worldwide, in-perpetuity.
Website Use:
Website use requires a non-broadcast, worldwide license. Downloads must be disabled. Clips must be watermarked in some way, and we can help you with this if you wish. For internet advertising, please contact us for a rate quote.
The edited underwater videos on this site are available themselves to license for other websites etc. but in most cases it is better just to provide a link to our underwater videos page.
Documentary Broadcast:
Documentary broadcast license terms for national and worldwide options are for 5 years. The "all media" option permits use for a single production, including broadcast use and any non-broadcast media, worldwide, in perpetuity. For promotional use, add 50% to the "all media" rates.
Entertainment TV:
Entertainment broadcast license terms for national and worldwide options are for 5 years. The "all media" option permits use in a single production including broadcast use and any non-broadcast media, worldwide, in perpetuity. For promotional use add 50% to the "all media" rates.
Commercial Use of Still Images
Our underwater stock photos are available as an uncompressed image file and may be licenced for use in commercial websites, printed media etc. Our underwater stock photos have appeared in magazines including Diver, Sport Diving, 9-90 and Scubaglobe (Thai Diver). The majority of the pictures are captured from video and so the resolution is generally maximum 768 x 576. A few were captured to memory stick at 1360 x 1020.
