Grey reef sharks (Carcharhinus amblyrhynchos) from Myanmar's shark cave and juvenile silvertip sharks (Carcharhinus albimarginatus) from the Burma Banks

This footage of these 2 species of requiem shark comes from our DVD Reef Life of the Andaman.

Reef Life of the Andaman - Video & DVD

Although it covers the full range of marine life in Thailand and Burma, my DVD Reef Life of the Andaman features extensive footage of 6 shark species.

Gentle leopard sharks, also known as zebra sharks, are very common in the area and we get some super close-up footage of these gentle creatures.

We have grey reef sharks circling in the canyon at Myanmar's Shark Cave and whitetip reef sharks from Black Rock.

From the Burma Banks we get up close with nurse sharks and boysterous silvertip sharks.

Star of the show is an impressive 8 metre whale shark filmed at Thailand's Richelieu Rock. There is little to match the awe inspired by a fully grown whale shark and Reef Life of the Andaman contains a beautiful sequence of the gentle giant.
