Porcupinefish and remora

At dusk on the third dive of the day I found this lone striped remora (Echeneis naucrates) which had attached itself to this common porcupinefish (Diodon hystrix) for want of anything larger. The remora eats any parasites off the host fish, so both parties are happy, although I'm sure a whale shark would provide the remora with a bigger meal!
